The Day Chocolate Company, a London-based partnership between British ATO's Twin Trading, the Body Shop, and Comic Relief, and Kuapa Kokoo, a cooperative of 40,000 cocoa growers in Ghana, launched its first bar of milk chocolate in 1998. Because of this unique partnership model, the cocoa farmers in Ghana participate directly in the decisions made by the organization and share in any potential profits.
